Those are things you hear when you hang out with gay friends. ;)
So I sit here, listening to good music that I shouldn't have purchased because I have no money, half naked in bra and undies, makeup perfect, hair still up as I have yet to do it, drinking Captain and Coke. I actually got out of the house today and am going out shortly. Finally.
And, I've lost weight. :)
The other life-beating-you-down things like L.A. traffic, probably having to take a second job, school starting soon, expensive car payments, the fact that I have no money and shouldn't be going out, the fact that I have no one and need to go out to find something/someone, moving, are still there, nipping at the back of my mind. But, at least I'm getting out of the house.
(Grammar be damned.)
I saw "The Others" today. I don't care how many people were "disappointed" by it. I wasn't expecting a gory or thrill-a-minute horror movie and I didn't get one. I like the suspense to build, to be drawn in by the little details, the music, the camera angles, the manner of speech as opposed to what's being said. You have to let go, let yourself be immersed in the picture the film is trying to portray, then you can enjoy it for what it is.
I can't remember the last time a film made chills run up my spine at least 3 times. I even got a little tired of being scared at one point. (It helps when you have a semi-intelligent, quiet audience) Very creepy, very good. I liked Nicole Kidman as well.
I still want to see Hedwig again. :)
Fucking Ebay takes a bigger percentage of your selling totals than they should.
Banks, are evil. Long gone are the days when they were supposed to help people. I hate being nickeled and dimed to death. A $1 to check my stinking balance from the ATM? A-holes. Fuck them, fuck them right in the ear.

I'm also upset that she lost most of her accent!
But that's just me being strange....
I hate how everything seems to help itself to the contents of your wallet... Like council tax... They demand it like God declared that all people owe them from birth and can never pay enough.... No please... No manners, these people!
;p
Hmm.... It's good to start a message with descriptions of semi-nudity!
;p
mike
I love this post so much and I don't know why... ^.^
Date: 2001-08-19 09:54 pm (UTC)Hey! Yeah! Lets bring our tempremental children and grandfather who coughs all the time to the movies! And don't forget the black gang in the back who have to relay -everything- that happens back to the audience through screams!
