I'm still doing it.

I can't stop.

There are no good apartments out there. Not any 2+2's for under $1,300.00. This makes me very upset. I want to cry.

I'll have to move back to the Valley and I'll be living with Staci. My only hope is that we can find a 2+2 instead of a 2+1. I WILL NOT share a bathroom. You've taken my privacy, my ability to say "no", my sanity, you will NOT share my bathroom.

Noooooo.
Nononononono.

Why can't I just say no?

I would rather not live with ANYONE, but it is more economical, especially now that I have a rather large car payment every month.

I don't want to find another roomie, as I'd rather have none. But she has been my friend for nearly 18 years now and I do have a problem saying "no". I honestly think she would just move back to Kansas if we couldn't live together, as she cannot afford living on her own right now.

It's semi-okay now as we're looking for a 6-month lease and she now knows that I want to live by myself. I think part of the problem could be solved by a better apartment setup. The one we have now is not conducive to privacy or noise-control.

Today we looked at one in Hollywood, where I would like to stay, and some in West Toluca Lake. I called some in Los Feliz and we're looking in West Hollywood and Sherman Oaks on Monday. I would love to live on the Westside, but it's EXTREMELY expensive as opposed to just REALLY EXPENSIVE over in WeHo/Hollywood, and pretty EXPENSIVE in the Valley. I would love to live in West Hollywood though, as it is under Rent Control. I cannot believe how much rent has gone up just in the past year. It's unbelieveable. There's been a 2% increase in population in this city in the past year. We are certainly feeling it.

I wish you the absolute best of luck though. Please, let me know if you need any help. :)

:)
