I was talking to Amanda last night (she said she knew about you so I figured it was okay to discuss it, hopefully it was!) and she said that all of her brothers have been through the same thing and to not worry since it's your first offense. It took Nathan several times of being arrested before things really got bad. She said the best thing is to not freak out otherwise they could hold that against you, think maybe you are a freak and need to be "handled" - can't think of a better word (similar to what was said above about being an upstanding citizen and all that).
Please, please take care of yourself. Is someone going with you? Maybe not into court if that would stress you out, but at least to the courthouse with you, be a strong support for you. Let me know how it goes. I wish you all the luck in the world!!!
