Re: I'm eating a monkey salad

In high school, I hung out with a girl named Julie, who's grandmother worked at a cafe. After school, we would go visit her and smack our books and backpacks down on the counter and order up two "Snoopy" salads. There was never a better salad. The ingredients included two or three types of lettuces, a homemade vinaigrette, crab, shrimp, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, a little cheese, and asparagus spears. Don't ask why they called it a Snoopy Salad. I never knew. But, yummylicious it was.
