On the way from Topeka to Lawrence, supposedly the 6th/7th/8th gateway to hell...not sure which. I knew an idiot who claimed to have died 37 times at Stull. pff. When I went home a few months ago, the church ruins were torn down due to too much vandalism.

Stull! OMG. We ditched school one day our freshman year to drive up there and scare ourselves silly; I was just telling Dax about this place, oh wow, maybe a month or so ago?

strange. i have a bunch of friends here in LA that are from that area. I learned early on there is a weird KC->LA pipeline that funnels all the KC rockstars this way.

hrmm... i'm kinda jealous. i never grew up around such interesting legends (just the lemp mansion (http://www.prairieghosts.com/lemp.html) downtown which isn't exactly the place a teen can wander around in).
although, my curiosity just peaked and i found this page (http://www.prairieghosts.com/stlouis.html) which indicates that there was a haunted house in webster groves .. down the effing street from my first boyfriend's! i always knew webster groves was swell. watching tv the other day, i also learned there is a preserved man in a crypt somewhere in south st louis (shocking). wah! so much i missed out on! :(
