That's right, [livejournal.com profile] haddob. Now you have to burn yours.

Good day, all in all.
I was somewhat worried that I wouldn't be able to produce some nice pictures for my niece, but I did well. It was well worth it just to hang out with her and my sister(my niece is generally around her boyfriend and it's hard to get her away). We went to these houses on 6th street that, weeks ago, I'd spotted as a possible location, then to Gage Park (rose garden, ponds, etc.), then to Shawnee Lake. I got some really nice shots and was even more pleased when she was sitting in the back seat scrolling through them and repeatedly exclaiming "Oo! I like this one!" or "OH, this one is CUTE!" *beams* My niece is quite attractive and if she weren't so "preppie", I'd love to play around with her look more. Maybe I'll talk her into it later, as she seemed to be getting into it. Initially, I had to direct her quite a bit, but then she eased into the model role and got the hang of it. Not to bring myself into it, but I was always good at that, posing. I guess it's the ability to put your mind's eye behind the camera and know what will look good. This is getting shallow really quick, so I'll just jump in...

We stopped at the store on the way home, Kim (my sister), Sara (my niece), and I had to pick up a few things. I had decided Boo needs his own kitty bed and there's this toy I've been wanting to get him. We were checking out and I heard this little girl tell her mom, "She's PRETTY!" and her mom replied, "Yes she is!" I looked over and the mom smiled at me and I smiled at the little girl who then exclaimed, "She's BEAUTIFUL!" I must have been a grinning fool and most likely blushed. Little kid compliments are the best. THE best. Because kids don't really lie. You're fat, you're ugly, you smell...they WILL tell you, and in no uncertain terms.

So yeah, nice day.
Current music is actually being downloaded. I heard it on my way home, NPR's film score hour. It made me sad, so of course...have to have it. It's that whole emotional masochism thing. You understand.
Oddly enough though, TMBG's "Lucky Ball And Chain" is in my head.
