ad astra per aspera
Jun. 29th, 2003 11:23 pmSpent the day in Manhattan (The Little Apple. *rolls eyes*) with the coolest of the cool,
photicdriver and her rad research exchange buddies. We (remarkably) found things to do there. Drove through a lovely old cemetery, had some decent Mexican, multiple errands were accomplished, and a stop in Bath & Body Works produced yummy new lotions and a candle. I even bought those horrible boxers that I've been wanting (black with gold bananas). :D
On the way there, lovely green all around...but I took no pictures, just enjoyed. On the way back, smaller highway, smaller towns. I forgot just how scenic (North Eastern) KS can be.
And the sunsets are generally quite colorful.
I've some sunset pictures from a previous day, but I don't think anyone cares to be bombarded with sunsets. Next it'll be bunnies and rainbows. Ha, I just remembered I took a picture of a baby rabbit in the rose garden a couple weeks ago. Shutup.
Need new journal colors/icons/bg.
I'm going to go finish sinking and wallowing like a big damn baby now.
Cheers.
