short, dull, and sweet
Sep. 16th, 2006 12:29 pmFinished book of Andre Dubus short stories, favorites were "All The Time In The World" and "A Father's Story". Will finish Richard Rhode's A Hole In The World today. Backed up on Adbusters.
American Lit I is boring as all hell. I hate Colonial literature.
Sculpture is going well. I may have found another love, or at least one to integrate into my current list of mediums. Will post pics soon. I love power tools and making things, even large-scale heads.
This no internet thing has to be cured soon. It's now only adding to my stress (the list of things to do grows). It could be argued that a life online is not a life, but I have one and I feel the urge/need/desire to maintain it.
This will be my last semester at KJHK. It's taking a turn and I no longer want to do my show every Thursday. The bonus of being able to copy music is not even enough to keep me there. Not much is striking my fancy lately anyway...except the gentleman listed in what I'm listening to now, and Old Canes, of which I just saw at the Replay. When the promotions assistant announced at the latest meeting that she wanted to bring in the Greek community to KJ, I knew it was the beginning of the end.
Lawrence is reaching its expiration date. Hopefully the date will coincide with my graduation.
Trying out for another study abroad, this one for an art scholarship of $3500 bones, to study in England or Scotland. Against my own better financial judgement.
Won't be able to afford new camera this semester.
This strikes a blow to my cold, cold heart.
