Tonight I:
Downloaded music(and such): Sonic Youth, Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham, Duncan Sheik, Corrs (feat. Bono), Stuart McLean, and Radiohead :}, drank tea, and watched MST3K. Now I'm going to take a shower and read until I pass the fuck out. Good times, good times.

/sarcasm

Current music: great song. Look up the lyrics if you feel so inclined.

I used to sleep with the covers wrapped around my head, with just a little opening to breathe. I thought I could see things moving in the dark. I was afraid of mannequins, and I used to have nightmares about them. Once I spent the night at my grandma's, but the sheets were tucked in too tight and I couldn't pull them up far enought to hide under. It was traumatizing.

Wow, I was thinking about that just now and I remembered the day I stopped sleeping in a crib. I remember trying to climb into it while my dad was taking the sides off. I wonder how old I was.

this made me smile, I don't know why.

I am listening to "Fake Plastic Trees" by Radiohead.
I forgot what an amazing song it is.

I used to have a mannequin. His name was Bob. I painted him all artsy fartsy, then gave up and painted his face like The Crow.

I hate it when the sheets are tucked in too tight...like in hotels. Who can sleep like that?

A mannequin with that face would scare me even more. My bed doesn't really have sheets, I have one of those poofy things. I don't remember the real name for it, I actually call it a poofy thing.

You know how people always ask that dumb question "What is your earliest memory?" I think that crib thing is mine, and I just realized it. That's neato. I went to this preschool called Raggedy Anne (however you spell the damn doll's name) Preschool that was owned by three weird ladies, and run out of one of their homes. Up until now I thought my earliest memory was the dream I had the night before my first day at that preschool. It's a really bad, cliche, kid's TV show dream. I was being driven to the school in a red convertible, and when we pulled up a garage opened and all of these kids were inside waving at me. And so was the boy Raggedy Anne doll...thing.

poofy things are teh cool

I think my earliest memory has to do with playing with those multi-colored magnetic letters on the fridge door. I think, anyway. I haven't thought about it too much. I'll see if I can dig up something earlier. *grabs spoon*

I used to go to a day care called Teddy & Me. It was pretty swell. One day, I asked one of the ladies that worked there how many times around the playground it would take to make 5 miles. She gave me some random number I can't remember and I ran it. I just finished when my Dad came to pick me up and I was beet red and breathing really hard. I'm sure it wasn't five miles, but that just goes to show how dumb I am. ;) I have no idea why I did that.

My Mom dressed me up as Raggedy Ann when I was wee. My Grandmother made me a Raggedy Ann doll.
