OH FOR FUCKS SAKE...I knew this would happen.

I've been offered ANOTHER job. But no, it couldn't be a clear decision of one paying more than the other. They both pay the same. Okay, the state job pays one friggin' cent more. Wee hoo. I don't know which one to take, there are pros and cons to both. Neither is going to cover the cost of an apartment (not with my bills), so I will have to get a 2nd job. One is in Lawrence (it's the job I was pre-training for), one is in Topeka. I want to move to Lawrence, but I currently live in Topeka. Communting wouldn't really be a problem, as the towns are 20 mins. apart. The state job is temporary, until June. The Lawrence job is not. BUT, if I stay with the temp position, I might either be able to get on with the state full-time (great benefits) OR I would be free to look for better employment. The Lawrence job is stability and is in the town I want to live in.

I think I'm leaning towards staying with the state job, because then I would feel better about leaving if something better (read: better pay) came along. The people are really nice at the Lawrence job though...but I don't know if I want to sit there and handle business conference calls all day. Ugh...I don't know.

Today is my nephew's birthday. He's 16.
S'weird, yo'.

I should probably eat something. I'm getting another headache.

Hmmmmmmmmm. A dilemma indeed! But a nice position to be in, you know?

Tell the one that's a cent less that you have received a second job offer. You're really leaning towards their position but unless they can up the offer you're going to have to go for the money.

If you're lucky they'll increase your starting salary by a buck or so.

You gots to play them bitches.

Well, I don't think it will work, but I'm going to try something of the sort. :)
