Doods! I got my own security badge. And a horrible pic to go with! :D

Whatever man, I was really fucking tired.

So, I've discovered something that was fairly obvious. I'm more stable, the more tired I am. I function at a higher tolerance, maybe even a higher awareness, when I'm fucking tired. This doesn't seem to make sense, yet it does. I think too much, overanalyze...my brain needs dumbing down. Holy FUCK, that sounded arrogant. It's not that, it's just that I think I need to tranquilize the fucker. Then again, it's the one doling out this advice, so who knows. It's a veritable conundrum, I tells ya.

SO, good things about this job: I can wear jeans and dress down. I get a cool security badge. I get to feel semi-important by working in the state office building. I get to listen to music while I type hours upon hours of mind numbing data into a computer...wait, that might be bad. Naw, it's easy. It's temporary, so if I find something better, I can just quit. I get a fucking paycheck. We get nice breaks throughout the day, which will be used to walk and read. I get off work early to beat traffic and still have some daylight left. It gets my ass out of bed in the morning. I was getting way too lazy, lethargic, and psychotic.

AND, sadly enough, here is the best part...I can dye my hair any fucking color I want.
So you know what I did after work? I went and bought some bleach and some niiiiice technicolor dye.
I, am going to piss off some Midwesterners. Yes I am. *glee* It's even MORE fun to dye your hair "odd" colors here, because they LITERALLY get angry that you're not conforming. And I swear to bloody Christ, I don't think I've seen anyone here with abnormal hair color. It saddens me. Is it possible that this town got even more conservative? Not that dyed hair makes you any "cooler" than the next schmuck...but fuck, live a little. Anyway...one or two pics to come when I get it done. The color is a surpriiiiise.

And here is a pic of my good friend Bob. I thought he'd been tossed, alas...there he is, in the shed. He's good for hanging things on. As you can see, I painted him in my gothier days. Shutup.

I also felt he deserved a little dignity, hence the leaf.

And man, I have missed Yello Sub so much.

Expect a few more updates. I'm feeling chatty and you've been warned. :p

My weathertramp has a little black cat now, and that's pretty spiff. It's nice outside and I can hear frogs and crickets even with the windows closed. I think it's supposed to rain soon as well, and this doth please me.

HA! Homer just sang the fish heads song. :)

"I painted him in my gothier days"
For some unknown reason, I read that as "I painted him in my Godfather days," and could not for the life of me figure out how Bob's paint job related to the movies. It took a re-reading a good three hours later for me to figure out what it really said.

Sounds like a OK job! I still need one. I am probably going to deliver newspapers at 2 in the morning. I like jobs where I don't have to talk to anyone.
