wrapped in ribbons

red ribbons
laced through pale fingers and limbs
binding arms to chest, legs together

ribbons around my waist, tight
around my neck, tighter
and finally over my mouth

a cocoon of red satin covering everything but my eyes
so I can see
but I cannot do.
