I can't stop thinking about that movie. I must see it again this week.

I went through the entire site today and finally figured out a few things. The "Philosophy of Time Travel" section was especially helpful. Of course, the questions answered opened more doors, more possibilites. I love how much is left up to interpretation and questioning. I love how it defies catagorization. I think IMDB lists at least 5 genres for this film. Most of the reviews have been glowing, as they should be, but of course, there are a few who take the "this movie thinks it's so great because it's so ambiguous and hard to understand" stance. I hate that. Just because you don't get it or you don't want to be one of the many who are praising it, don't poo-poo it to try and make yourself look more intelligent, it doesn't work.

It's killing me to not have a soundtrack. Not only for the lyrical pieces, but the wonderful score as well.

Richard Kelly(writer/director) is a very talented man.
This is the kind of movie that exists in my head, complete with the music I hear. This is the kind of movie I want to make. When I think about my book turning into a film, I want the soundtrack to fit so perfectly like this. It's possible, I can do it. If I just would.

"And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles

It's a very, very
Mad World"
