I've got to agree with you here. It's an amazing series, that deserved better endings than whatever she decides to slap on to meet a deadline. But as the series goes on, there's less "Harry's a hero!" than "someone saved Harry's ass from Voldemort!" Stick with it, my favorite was the third book.
