The old one doesn't have a CD-RW, but a Zip drive. Of course, the new one doesn't have a Zip drive, but a CD-RW. Another fun fact is that one is Win98, the other WinXP Home edition. (I know, I didn't necessarily want XP, but that's what it came with. I've been researching and it shouldn't be too bad I think.)
I DO however have, or rather the roommate bought one for us, a router. I'm assuming that I can hook up both of my computers to this router and move things from one to the other. This is the theory. That, or I've been told I have to get a cross-over cable and then move it from computer to computer. I have to figure this all out when I get home. Grrr. Do you know if it is fairly easy to transfer old mail? I access my mail through my browser (Nutscape).
