Had a good night tonight in spite of being sure I wouldn't. Spent more money than I should have, but what's new? 99 Bananas and Diet Coke is yummy. Staci and I went to Amoeba and then to the new mall thing around Farmer's Market called The Grove. Let me just say, I was so pissed off when they started building a mall around Farmer's Market. But now I am not. It is very nice, sticks with the 1930's/40's Hollywood theme, very studio bungalow and such and matches well with Farmer's Market. At least someone put some thought into it. Anyway, the theatres were nice as well, Saturday night, easy to park and get into, stadium seating, nice high-backed chairs. I also purchased 4 CD's at Amoeba, because I'm an addict AND an idiot. I still haven't even gone upstairs. I fear it. I purchased:

A French Affair: 43 Classic French Love Songs ($17)
Baxter ($5)
Sarah Brightman: La Luna ($6)
ATB: Let U Go (feat. Wild Strawberries) (single) ($5)

Saw a cute guy there wearing a black kilt too. I followed him a bit but didn't get the nerve to say anything until he left. BOOOO!

We saw Panic Room. I liked it. I panicked sufficiently. But the ending fell flat a bit.

I so wanted Forrest Whitaker's character to get away. What the fuck. You build up this character as the sympathetic-nice-guy-villain and then completely drop it by having him get caught and the money blow away. That wasn't the point of that movie. Crap ending, good flick.

My mom likes Sarah Brightman

And strangely, her maiden name is Baxter. OoOOoOOoOoo! I talked to her yesterday and she called me a doofus.

I've never had 99 bananas.

Yeah. End comment.
