I miss my Commodore 64!
If anyone remembers a game put out by Broderbund that had a pumpkin-headed character and it was all spooky, please let me know. It was a 2-game set. One was against Mr. Pumpkinhead and the other was something with "The Pumpkin's Revenge" tacked onto the end of the title. Just thought I'd ask before doing a little research. I miss those Gold Medal Games too. :( Oooo, and Paperboy!
Awww...for some reason Starlite skating rink back home just popped into my head. Memmmmreeeees....misty, water-colored....*BANG!*
YAY! It was "Cauldron" and "Cauldron II". Oh so many hours wasted with those games. And California Games and Gold Medal Games. Hot-cha.
Weeeeeeee!!!!
heeee, Sabre Wulf was the first C64 game we bought. I played that one just as much as Cauldron and Cauldron II...yeah, shutup, I'm having fun. ;)

c64.com is a good site too, by the way. Or...well, it's pretty, at least. ;) I can't get a c64 emulator to work on my machine, goddammitall.
My favourite c64 game was probably Spelunker, by Broderbund. Or maybe Jumpman. Also by Broderbund, come to think of it. Hmm.
I miss those silly, mostly-pointless games. Sometimes I'd like to just collect the goodies and kill the baddies, and not care about fourteen trillion polygons per second and an overarching storyline. ;)

Broderbund was the master of cool C64 games. :D
Yes, I love the simplicity of those games. :)
Yeeeeeeeeeuh
