I started watching Saving Private Ryan with Staci, but I had to stop because she kept looking at her fingers during the Normandy scene. It pissed me off.

Yeah, it doesn't take much, does it.

I should be writing.

I've never seen that movie...why did it piss you off that she was looking at her fingers?

because I've never seen it, and because I'm projecting my own feelings onto the situation, what I'm imagining is that she doesn't like violence...so she nervously looked at her hands when the scene became bloody...that's what I do. I have a very low tolerance for violence...which is why I haven't seen that movie.

Nope. That girl will watch bloody medical shows while eating. She was just picking at her fingers in disinterest.

It pissed me off because that is one of the most intense scenes in that movie. It requires constant attention as there is so much to take in.

I came back and watched it with her between writing breaks, but that just set me off.
