It's thee kind ov stuff people only tend to do with cool (ie pop-culture or otherwise romanticized) laguages. I mean, who writes out their German accent, their Engrish, or who writes in ebonics other than jokingly? Not that many. Why? Because you make an ass ov yourself that way rather than seeming fuckable because you just stepped out ov Trainspotting or what have you. I mean really, if you're so ethnic just write in a different language altogether and spare people thee trouble.

And yes, I realize this entry is not written in correct English. It's not written in correctly accented English either though, and it's not a tribute to thee ever so special place where I was born.

See, but I know English isn't your first language. The difference is, you don't piss all over the language by writing with an accent even though you can write otherwise. Yes, I do type in certain dialects/accents/affectations occasionally...for fun. But the goal is ALWAYS effective communication. If we don't have that, what the fuck do we have?

I get very pissed off when people fuck with communication. Writing is all about the best way to communicate your thoughts/feelings/ideas, etc. If you CHOOSE to do that in an ineffective manner, then don't get pissed if people can't understand why...let alone what you're saying in the first place.

But once again, I don't care HOW he chooses to write. I wanted to know why...but iteems like I hit a sore spot

It's just a way ov conveying a certain quality about yourself. In a way it works to make whatever you say less important simply by pointing thee light at thee way you say it instead. Style over substance, baybee! See, what I am saying about certain accents not being typed out save for fun or to make some sort ov point is just part ov that. Rednecks, Germans, Asians, etc. Look at thee ones that don't get typed out and thee ones that do, and you will get a pretty clear picture ov what's cool in thee mainstream (like Brit actors and pop stars) or what conveys a certain level ov intelligence or desired trait associated with a national stereotype.

And all ov that? Well, it's bullshit to be honest.
