The fire alarm in our apartment building went off 9 times in the past 24 hours. Guess where the fire alarm in our particular apartment is? Where else? My room. It's EXTREMELY LOUD and PIERCING. All attempts to sleep were met with a heart-attack-inducing shrill noise about every hour. My nerves were a mess. I only actually went outside for the 4:30am one. The rest I just sat on the couch until they stopped. Guh.

I have to find an apartment and move by October...for other reasons which I'm sure I've complained about.
