Hello, your mom!

This will be the main page of my future website. I hope to create an image map of a blood/seal type thing with my spirally-J signature stamped in the middle. The droplets will be the links to other pages. I have no idea how to do any of this...but dammit, I'll find out.

the image map is easy, really. you just need a program to do that.
make your image, draw little shapes around the part of the image you want as a link, type in where you want it to go and it'll snap up the code for you.

the stamp though .. hmm... ACTUALLY! lemme try and dig something up.
there was a website i use to go to that had lots of tips and tricks for making 3D images and whatnot in photoshop (if you have that). i think there was one that might help you out! :)
it had instructions on how to make lighting/shading very much like what you speak of.
finding it though .. haha. oh my. but i will try!

no, it was on some advanced photoshop tricks site. i found some bookmarks i had but i think it might be 404ed. arg.

it's not quite what i was thinking of. the one i remembered was quite detailed and used a lot of sneaky things to make it look quite attractive and um .. realistic. it also wasn't an action to download, but check that out and lemme know if that's kinda the effect you're going for.
i'll keep poking around and see if i can find it.
