Shoooooweeeee, it do stink.
Sep. 2nd, 2001 02:18 pmSo I'm sitting here at work, only not at work. We're in the other office across the street because they're re-roofing the main office. It STINKS! It's permeating THIS office now. Smell of tar is everywhere! Help.
We looked at apartments yesterday. We found one that I would LOVE to take, but it has about 3 or 4 things going against it. It's east of the 101, not a bad area, but not a great area.
It doesn't have parking or air and it only has one bathroom. But, it's $1,100 a month, all utilites paid, it's just been remodeled, and they take pets. It's so cute. It's a townhouse style with the bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs. The living room is huge and the kitchen and little dining area are very cute with their little black and white tiles. It makes me sad that we probably won't be able to take this one. It's very conducive to containing the noise.
We looked at a couple in the valley as well and we're looking at more tomorrow. Oy. Now that this HAS to happen, I'm trying to make the best of it and am becoming a little excited about a change of surroundings. I still hate moving though.
And school starts in two days.
And I'm jumping out of a plane in a couple weeks.
And I hate packing...but I hate living out of boxes and unpacking more.
So unsettled.
So scattered.

Date: 2001-09-02 06:06 pm (UTC)I am so gawth, I pee black.
Not really. I used to be very gothy. Now, if gothiness were taco sauce, I'd be mild. I think.
Yes, I'm not sure why I am on your friend's list either because I honestly don't remember talking to you. Unless I talked to you in #slavelabor or on the SLG board and you had a different name. But then again, I can sometimes have a bad memory. I like it when random people I might have either talked to once, or not at all, add me to their friend's lists.
You're in the Navy? O_o
Thank you for the luck. I will need it. :)
