I found my Ziggy Stardust CD(s)!!!!!!! :D

Best movie poster ever.

And I can't wait for Secretary to come out. Maggie Gyllenhaal mmmmm, James Spader ick...ah well, seems a fitting role.

Some chick responded to my personal ad on the Onion. But she just wanted TEH SEX. She gave me her phone number and said that if that goes well, she'd give me directions to her house. I just didn't respond. Funny how if a guy did that, I would just think he's a dirtbag, but a chick, it's hot and a little flattering. It's still smarmy though, just a little less so. Smarm is generally non-gender biased.

You said something tonight on the phone that meant a lot to me - the comment you made about my taste in books. I know it might seem odd to most that I'd take joy in or be flattered by what you said, but your opinion means a lot to me. I just wanted to let you know and to say thanks. :)

No problem. I should say things like that more often. I was truly impressed. :)

Funny, I'm more flattered by someone complimenting my taste in books than I would be if someone told me I was pretty (of course, it's nice to hear that too!) :) Hmm, I guess it's because the one says more about me and thus is a far larger compliment than referring to something that's beyond my control. Anyway, THANKS!

As the pain sweeps through,
Makes no sense for you
Every thrill that's come
Wasn't too much fun at all
But I'll be there for you-who-hoo
As the world falls down...
Falling
Falling down
Falling
Falling in love.

I knew a girl from work who looked a lot like M. Gyllenhaal. She was nuts. Not Gyllenhaal, the girl. Yeah.

That poster is hilarious.

Every time I see James Spader, I get the urge to beat him up. Must be a John Hughes flashback.

=( that was me who replied. *sniffle* lol, just kidding *snicker* But yeah that poster's pretty funny. I like James Spader, he always plays odd roles. I think he's kind of cute in a mysterious stalker sort of way. ;) I've never heard of Maggie Gyllenhaal though... I'm intrigued about the movie now. hehehehe

Well, I'll have that song floating in my head for the rest of the day now. (not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but still).

You remind me vaguely of a guy I knew once who went by the name of Dirk the Dirty Scotsman.

AWWW damn! I missed my chance. ;)
I would like James Spader but he gives me the heebie-jeebies. I think he's well-suited for this role though. Perhaps I will change my mind about him after I see this. He definitely is a "mysterious stalker" type, with just a dash of smarm. I think I first noticed Maggie in Cecil B. Demented, then in Donnie Darko. Both you should go rent, RIGHT NOW. :)
