Some chick responded to my personal ad on the Onion. But she just wanted TEH SEX. She gave me her phone number and said that if that goes well, she'd give me directions to her house. I just didn't respond. Funny how if a guy did that, I would just think he's a dirtbag, but a chick, it's hot and a little flattering. It's still smarmy though, just a little less so. Smarm is generally non-gender biased.

Funny, I'm more flattered by someone complimenting my taste in books than I would be if someone told me I was pretty (of course, it's nice to hear that too!) :) Hmm, I guess it's because the one says more about me and thus is a far larger compliment than referring to something that's beyond my control. Anyway, THANKS!
