No one, save maybe rueyeet, feels how I feel and it was very isolating. Like Sunder, I was sick of people pointing out our flaws and that anger spawned my first post. I felt stupid, attacked (by Avo a little) and belittled. But not by you dear Kat. Possibly not by anyone in particular, but a sum of the parts.
I am not mad at you at all. You did nothing wrong. And you had every right to feel the way you did. I re-read what I posted through your eyes and I see where I went wrong.
I'm just a little shocked and dissappointed in myself. I'm usually pretty open-minded and like to see things from all sides. I guess fierce pride and strong emotions often override consideration.
Sometimes I just feel like so many of us take this country and our freedom for granted. NOT YOU, this is not you...I'm just talking...stupid train of thought shit...mostly spurned by what Avo's posts.
Before I ramble any longer.... I am so very relieved that you don't dislike me. You are one of the MOST wonderful people I have met and I would be so, so sad to lose your friendship.
