Why are people so fucking stupid, delusional, and irritating? Seriously. And the combination of the three, makes me seethe. I'm shaking, and it's only half because it's cold in here. I'm scowling, and it's all because, seriously, that shit ain't right.
Again, whatever.

I'm working a night shift tonight. It's been months and months since I've done this. It's very quiet in here and..damn, I already yawned. I'll crash at around 5am, I usually do. Good thing The Simpsons are on in 20 minutes. I need a distraction. Though I think I brought enough with me tonight:

It's been so long. I need to re-read The Sandman as well. I don't think I ever even read The Wake. :/

-nailpolish to redo my nails
-a large knife with which to disembowel myself. AHAHAHA, I kid.

I'm bored, perhaps I'll go blonde tomorrow.
Tomorrow is our office Christmas party (read: free food, and bonus checks). I'll probably just wear the black sweater, that I picked up from the dry cleaners today, and a short black skirt or something. S'weird, I think that's the only the 2nd time I've actually had to go to the dry cleaners. I don't normally own things that need to be dry cleaned, just coats and such. But this was a coat and an Italian sweater that my Mother, Someone bless her, lovingly washed and shrank(shrunk?) when I went home last year. Good thing though, as it was too big anyway. Heh. That was supremely boring.

Going to the Volunteer Center after I get off work in the morning. Must complete community service.
I need new shoes. I want red shoes.
I need to write.

if you're looking for new comics to read, i suggest:

[back issues or collections of]
league of extraordinary gentlemen (the first volume is collection, the second volume is currently running, a miniseries based on the exploits of dr jeckell, captain nemo, the invisible man, alan quartermaine and others)
books of magic (based on the original mini-series by neil gaiman, which came before sandman, there were about 75 issues or so)
nevermen (a 4-issue shot about noir-style trenchcoat wearing superheroes)

I've been meaning to read A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen actually. I've looked at Books of Magic before, and it never really struck me. Maybe I'll give it another chance. :}

I haven't heard of Nevermen though. I'll look it over when I go. I'm so behind now. *goes to look at Slavelabor's site*

Heh, speaking of Neil Gaiman, I came home the other day to find my mother reading his new book, Coroline. If I didn't think her reading "Scary Godmother" comics were enough and loving Tim Burton merchandise this one kind of put a smiley across my face. For a bipolar/maniac depressive who drives me batshit, she really has fun taste for a (almost) 59 year old woman. It makes it so easy to shop for her for the holidays. ;)

Nice. :D

I haven't read Coroline yet. Have it, just haven't read it. :}
