Fra-gee-lay!
Dec. 25th, 2002 06:16 pmIt must be Italian.
Arrived home at 8am, odd to see such little traffic on the 405. In bed by 8:15am. Woke up at 3pm. Called family. Talked for two hours. Had a nice conversation with my niece. Her boyfriend is scared of me now. I guess they've been telling him he'd better treat her right or I will kick his ass. Which is true, but still. ;) I'm only wary because, well, he's 23 and she's 17...that, and he has a penis. He seems okay though. My Sister kept telling me to come home now, as if just over a month is not good enough, and as per usual, she got weepy when we needed to get off the phone.
I just made chili. So very Christmas, no? Now I'm going to work out, shower, and watch some of A Christmas Story...the best holiday movie ever. I think my friend Catty is coming over later. Maybe we can try and catch LOTR: The Two Towers.
I can't wait to be in my niece and nephew's life again. Apparently Sara, my niece, who wants to go into broadcasting, was on one of the radio stations back home. She did a shift from 10am-noon. This amazes me. I didn't know she was getting so far with this. I've missed so much. No regrets, no worries, I'll catch up.
:}
Everyone be safe.
That means, no drinking and driving, 'kay?
