I just hooked up the computer at the new apartment, finally.

Je suis de Valley Village. (god I hate that name. I'd rather say North Hollywood. I mean, at least North Hollywood comes with the prestige of being the porn capital of the world. ;)

It's next to Sherman Oaks.
I am once again, a valley girl. Heheh.

But I still work in Culver City homey g-dawg. We should get lunch sometime. (when I'm not so po' that is.)

Yes, lunch! Lunch is good. I, too, am po'. I need a jobby job, because if I had one, I'd have money.

Of course now I'm wracking my brain with a way of saying "I live here" that makes sense...

But 'Ju suis' means I am.

I used to say "Je suis mal a la tete" when I had a headache, until it was pointed out that I was saying "I am sickness of the head".

It means "I am FROM Valley Village." Which, yes, technically, I am not. It would be more accurate to say, "Je suis de Topeka." I should have actually said, "J'habite" which means "I live".

But no, "Je suis" is not wrong.
