And while I was looking for images, I stumbled across this. Incidentally, it's a photographer's website, and they're located in Lawrence, KS. Too bad the photos are crap...seriously. I've been having many odd coincidences these past few days though...many, slow, "clicking" moments. And there are MANY, many sites dedicated to lighthouses....many.
This one was especially helpful.
Right, because all of you are now scrambling for pictures of lighthouses.
Whatever, we all have our "themes".

And hey, if I can't live in one, I can sleep in one. ;)

i've seen that first lighthouse being engulfed by a wave image a thousand times and i always laugh. its a very cool image and noone ever seems to notice the man standing out in front of the lighthouse.

whats funny about the image is that it is usually found framed on the wall of the dentist's or doctor's office. business offices and such...place of "family orriented progamming"... this is fine and all but amusing if you realize that it is one of the most incredibly sexually suggestive images you can find with-out actually viewing flesh. its a nothing more than a huge cock...entering...

did you notice this or am i just depraved?

I noticed the nasty man standing at the entrance to the rock-hard shaft, yes. That's part of why it's so nifty-keen.

Though...any image of a lighthouse could be considered quite sexual, Dr. Freud.

kansas is pretty cool though. nice and flat. if it was underwater and you were a diver, you could see really far.

Ah, but I have a strong fear of large bodies of water, or water I can't completely see through...or piranhas, or sea monsters, or my overactive imagination...

My prents visit lighthouses all the time... they're quite fun. On the Chesapeake River n MD, there's a lighthouse at one of the maratime museums... It's a tiny thing, compared to some. Once a year, they've camping event there, and when we were kids, we'd sneak up to sleep on the balcony of the lighthouse. Even though it was on the River, not the ocean, it was a cool experience.

I love the pics, btw. :)

That sounds very cool actually. :D

Apparently there's this whole group of lighthouse devotees that I knew nothing about. Just judging from the amount of photos and sites dedicated to them. Odd...but interesting.

And thanks. Someday I hope to take my own pics of some o' dem der lighthouses. ;)
