newspaper and crinoline
Feb. 15th, 2003 04:21 pmWearer of many hats, keeper of one. It's my thinkin' cap, I tells ya. There's a prize in every package, guar-ron-teed. I'm way too tired to go into what any of that means. If you a smart one, a bored one, a psychotic stalking one, you'll figure it out.
I hate my hair. I needs teh change.
And I've learned to live with the shooting pain.
Some places just look like good places to die, or kill. Sometimes they tell a story. I wonder if I'm the only one who hears it.
Swing Heil, baby.
Guess:
"Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know."
"They say the seeds of what we will do are in all of us, but it always seemed to me that in those who make jokes in life the seeds are covered with better soil and with a higher grade of manure."
"To me heaven would be a big bull ring with me holding two barrera seats and a trout stream outside that no one else was allowed to fish in and two lovely houses in the town; one where I would have my wife and children and be monogamous and love them truly and well and the other where I would have my nine beautiful mistresses on nine different floors."
"All things truly wicked start from innocence."
"I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I'm awake, you know?"
"The only thing that could spoil a day was people. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself."
"The most essential gift for a good writer is a built-in, shock-proof bullshit detector."
Awww, that last one is just giving it away.
*tips hat* I'm gonna go put a smile on my face and fall asleep.
