blustockingSo I was bored the other night after getting ready for bed. I looked around my room and noticed, "Hey, I have a lot of hats". Sho' nuff. I DO have a lot of hats. So I took pictures. They are located here. They are glamorous and exciting, and especially h0tt due to my lack of makeup. ;p (Well, except for the lipstick I put on later to compliment the riding hat and top hat) Persons who are pregnant or have a heart condition, be warned. You must be this tall to ride this ride. Please keep arms and legs inside the car at all times.
I also reorganized my gimp-ass Webshots page so that it's more about teh photo. Less about teh me...except for my glorious hat shots. I discovered 2 more hats today, so I might add to it later. We'll see how bored I get. The McGee Project needs to be launched soon as well. Shhhhh...
Early (for me) on V-D Day, I looked out the window and it was grey and drizzly, trés apropos. So I put on my coat, some slippers, and walked around taking photos. I found this black-looking, heart-shaped leaf (which is now hanging on the board next to me) and used it, as well as some of those burr-things that fall from certain trees (you like how technical I am). Anyway, they're here starting with the one entitled "barnblur1". Oui, oui. There are also more here starting with "barn1bw". Some from 2 days ago, some that I just haven't posted yet. My computer is riddled with photos I haven't posted yet. Sorry for all of this. :} Actually, no I'm not. You don't like it, you can take a flying leap! ;) And can I say that I'm so jazzed about how this turned out. :D
Oh Christ, there's more here too. Starting after "WeHocheer". Heheh, sorry. I know most of you won't look at all of that, but, weh...it's there. I need a real website. Fuck that, I need a job.
Looks like my Niece is going to Louisiana and Florida with her boyfriend and his Mother for Spring Break. Pssh. Which is okay really because I don't have the money to go to NYC yet. I'm shooting for May, by myself probably, as the play I want to see opens in early April.
I didn't really eat anything today, but I worked out. I'm cool like that.

Date: 2003-02-17 05:07 pm (UTC)Thank you. Not really a story, I suppose. I designed it and had it done in pieces. Everything on it means something to me and has great personal symbolism though. I like cats (animals), have an affinity with black cats. I like spirals and books(not sure if it's visible but the cat is sitting on an open book. The iron scrollwork and ivy are both reminders of New Orleans. The ivy is also for my sign in Celtic astrology and when I had a rough night last year, when crashed my car into a curb...I passed out in ivy. So it's also to remind me not to be so fucking stupid ever again. The ankh is for eternal life, as I'm sure you know and I adore ancient Egypt. The crescent moon was for mere design purposes, but I've been known to stare aimlessly at the night sky. I once wanted to be an astronaut.
Someday I hope to have the Egyptian goddess Ma'at on the small of my back, with outstretched wings. She was the goddess of truth and justice. I wanted two small symbols on my wrists too, but I'm still deciding.
That, is more than you wanted to know...I'm sure. ;}
