Sounds That Annoy The Crap Outta Me:

1. Will always and forever be hearing people eat. *seethe*
2. People taking forever to put dishes away and being very loud about it, or general more-loud-than-necessary banging of pans and dishes.
3. Those incessant alarm clocks that go, ENH! ENH! ENH! *shudder* Makes me wake up in a panic wanting to duck and cover.
4. To some extent, the phone ringing....and in that respect the formerly inevitable shrill, needy cry of "Do you work here?"

btw.. thursday? maybe 4ish? I haven't been to Lawrence in a while.. so I've no clue where a fun place is to meet for an hour or so and hang out..
and if thursday doesn't work, there's a good possibility that I'll be staying in lawrence friday night, and definitely saturday night... so yes..

thursday I'll have transportation until about 5.30 or 6... at which time I have to rescue my sister from work, and go into kansas city for dinner and stay in the city that night.
I think thursday might be best... unless I actually find out what's going on friday night. I know during the day on friday I'm stuck with my sister and picking her sorority alumni friends up from the airport.
I'm up for anything really...
friday night I don't know if I'll have transportation.. I might. My sister didn't give me a good detailed plan of what is going on.. but I know I'll be in lawrence friday night.

Do you remember James from Brentano's (although, how anyone could forget James is beyond me)? Did you ever eat with him? He is the LOUDEST eater I have ever met - ten times worse than you-know-who. Besides smacking and chewing loudly, he makes these mmmm noises and basically praises his food throughout the meal. It got to the point where everyone at work would avoid taking their lunch breaks at the same time as him. Those of us comfortable enough or close enough to him would just tell him to shut up - or not to eat with us. We were nice about it (most of the time - depending on how annoying he got), but sometimes you just had to banish him to his side of the back room. Mmmmm, smack, chew.
