Just be thankful I didn't say "black" and follow it up with some poetry.
I was in a good mood, tons of ideas, motivation, and writing done throughout the day. And then, I remembered it is "Earth Day". FUCK Earth Day. Fuck the concept and fuck everyone on this planet. Oh boy, another bit of "specialness" to print on the calendars. Another day to hold some fucking concerts and sell more worthless shit. Another day for the "wacky afternoon radio team" to mock and lampoon by planting FAKE TREES. Another day to forget what the original intent was. And this one isn't even going to be remembered by a fourth of the population because hey, there are no gifts to be received. No candy, no special songs, no large feasts. So fuck this day, for the same reasons I say fuck anniversaries. The important things shouldn't get 24 hours to creep into our consciousness, only to be forgotten come morning.
