I have it for the 16th-19th! FOUR LOVELY NIGHTS! Dood, Southwest is reeeeeally cheap...or, at least, they were. :D

Are you just going to go with flying into San Diego? I don't know what's going on for L.A. really. I might have to rent a car, methinks.

Yeah, I think I'm going to just fly in to San Diego on the 16th and hook up with ya'. I would love to go early and hang out in LA for a while, but I'm anal about planning (I'm too worried about showing up somewhere with no place to stay or no sure idea if I'll ge tto the airport on time, etc.). I have to know well in advance what the plans would be.

The only flights I could get without it becoming horribly expensive would mean a 3:37 PM arrival in San Diego. The airport is really close to the hotel and a short cab ride or something wouldn't be bad at all or some form of picking me up as you said. It also means a 6:45 AM departure from San Diego that Sunday the 20th (last day of con). I don't relish the idea of getting up at 5 AM to go to the airport, but it appears to be the only option for San Diego flights.

Is it any cheaper for LAX? If you flew in there, we (or I) could pick you up before heading down to San Diego. I fly out at 5pm on the 20th from LAX. So if your departing was around that time, that would be no problem.

LA was cheaper by about $80 but had the same flight times, oddly enough. Getting from San Diego to LA for a 6:45 AM flight would have been impossible. There were later times, but they started to jump into the $500-1000+ range.
