What cruel and sadistic turn of events is this?
It's raining, gloomy. Lots of thunder. And my allergies are so bad I cannot properly enjoy it. HAVE I DEVELOPED AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE WEATHER I LOVE SO MUCH? WHY OH WHY?!

Maybe I'm just allergic to Kansas...yes, that is it.

here in texas, the rain tends to make the mold count shoot up like crazy. If it rains a hell of a lot, it's ok, because the mold can't get into the air. If it rains just a little, or if the rain stops for a day, that just makes the mold grow and gets it up into the air.

That's why my allergies always get worse in this type of weather.

It's more of an allergic reaction to hicks masquerading as refined and culturally aware people, with a dash of defensive and confusing snobbery thrown in. I hate these people, but they feed my (f)ire.
I'm reluctant to write off the entire state, as Lawrence is an exception. But I'll gladly generalize this town. YEEHAW.
