The nape of my neck, or rather the hair, isn't conducive to tapering. It's more of a wispy nape, made more for simply putting my hair up. My hairdresser has told me this, and I believe her because I've noticed it as well. We did cut it all off once, and it looked okay, just not "right". So yes, I could have that haircut, it just wouldn't look quite as smashing as it does on you. :D
And I'll probably be coming to con sometime in the next two years. I would've come this year, but with me going away to college, my parents were super-protective and they wanted to go with me if I went all the way out to California. But once they've had me at college for a year, I'd be willing to wager that they stop loving me and don't care what I do! Woohoo!
