Did I mention Boo got to go to the vet. My parents, emotionally draining as they can be, are still wonderful people and paid for wee kittykins to have his tooth taken out. He's happy and non-smelly now. I am now happy too.
Somewhat.

Either I'm PMSing or something's amiss in Jillville.

I've been drawing quite a bit though, thanks to these.
I'll post once I have the initiative to hook up my scanner.

Gee-awww.

I'm Old Skool

I like the fine line Sharpies for drawing too. The felt-tip ones, not so much. Though they smell really good. @_@

These pens are the best though, for me anyway. You can get really fine lines and thick lines (and everything in between) just by pressure. It's india ink too, so it's black-black. Like neverending watercolor in a pen. I'm talking like I'm the first one to discover brush pens, but it's just helped me so much. It's forced me to be confident in my line-work, to take chances. I'm really pleased with the stuff I'm doing. Of course, that could also be the influence of my reading material over the last four months (lots of comics, old and new).

Funny thing about stiffness. It's a sign of either lots of life or total death.

You can join my choir.

How funny. I just wrote down that book to buy next month (or early May) when it comes out in paperback. I've been wanting to read it, among a million other books.

Glad Boo is doing better. :)

Ironically enough, it comes out on paperback today! :) Now to decide whether to buy it today or wait for that nice little bookstore discount (which I'll be using when in L.A. next month).

Have you heard about the book, Eats, Shoots & Leaves (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1592400876/qid=1083634573/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/104-4057114-7015913)?

Fookin' bastards! They lie! They lie!

"Curious Incident" was supposed to come out in paperback that day, but now it's not coming out until May 18th!!!!! Bastards!!!!

Also, yes, I have heard of "Eats, Shoots & Leaves". I think it comes out in hardcover today. Right? I've been reading up on it lately, but haven't actually seen it yet. Are you reading it? Going to read it? I'm nervous. I've heard that it's written from "a British perspective" and that it can drive "an American" (who has a good grasp of grammar) bonkers.

At least I think. I might be wrong. I haven't been thinking clearly lately.

P.S. Are we still on for the last weekend in May? I'm free on Sunday and Monday (30th & 31st). Let me know what works for you.
