If there's one thing Wisconsin knows, it's beer...and cheese....and being portly. Though you might be right about the churches, there still were a hell of a lot of them (half the population is Danish, and Catholic at that).

yeah, i especially like the pastries made out of danish fisherfolk. they're especially trouty!
