Friday, my place of employment decided to go into an "emergency" 24/7 plan. That means that I opted to work the overnight shift (midnight - 8:30am) five days a week. We'll know by the end of this week how this affects my brain.
I'm not sure why I did it...MUCH less phone calls, 10% more pay, experiement in stupidity, who knows. So yeah...I have to go to work in 4 hours.

Ian and I saw Mean Girls this weekend, and it was pretty fucking funny. We sat in the parking lot before the movie and listened to Lewis Black, drinking rum and coke before it started. We didn't get drunk, so when I say it was funny, I mean it. :)

I saw my niece graduate yesterday. She constantly makes me proud. It's amazing how mature she is. Though sometimes I wonder if she isn't trying to grow up too fast, she's still amazing.

I have the new Cure song in my head, but I'm going lie because I really like this song...

I etm Lewis Black at Java Break a few weeks ago. I had no clue what he was, but he sounded like a comedian, and he was doing a show in town somewhere I think.. maybe Liberty Hall...

he seemed nice, and tipped well.
