addendum: AHAHAHAA....I'm in the computer lab and there was this lady sitting at the computer next to me, generally being loud and cursing under her breath while I lamented "why do they always sit next to me?" She also smells a little. I just NOW looked over after about an hour of "her" being here, and realized it's a man, in drag. heheheheheheh.
Okay, so I guess you had to be there.

I think your journal is interesting and funny. Most are not. Mine is. That is why you should add me as a friend. You see, many people, after reading my journal, actually believe that it is so awesome that it could not have been written by a human. They imagine that possibly I am some sort of computer programmed to fathom the depths of pure radness, sending daily reports, and that these reports are then posted on the interweb under the moniker negative_slant. It isn't true though. I am just that awesome.

You made the right decision, and I won't let you down. I know you have high standards and I intend to live up to them.
I know we'll be best friends because we like some of the same things. Liking the same things ensures that two people are perfectly compatible.
Do you ever go to the contra naturam fetish show at the bottleneck? If so perhaps I've seen you there. One of my best friends is in the show, so I go sometimes.

I have not been. In all cynical snobbishness, I feared it would be a let-down after my L.A. experiences. I realize I may very well be wrong. And I was actually thinking of asking them if I could photograph either the show or the members.

In case you haven't noticed, I am kind of a jerk. I hope this won't get in the way of our friendship.

I'm not much into the fetish thing. I have fun, but I mainly go to support my friend. it may be a let down. another thing is that a lot of people's attitude about the show is directly related to how they feel about jericho.
I can give you this bit of insight on it though. A friend of a friend who's big into the chicago fetish scene went with us to a show. Now, this was the first show I'd been to, and the best one they've done that I've seen, by far. It was this southern baptist style revival, and everyone had a great time. anyway, this fetish friend of a friend said that it topped everything he had seen or put on in chicago. like i said, though, it was the best they've done by far.
I imagine a lot of people think I'm a jerk. I'd prefer asshole.

And yes, I remember reading an article on this Jericho character. It was dramatic and entertaining.

Asshole is funnier. Is "funnier" a word? Probably not, but it's funnier.
