Bless you for once again, saving my ass from not being able to pay my utilities.
I'm wearing shoes that I bought at Target 3 years ago, I can't remember the last time I purchased a new article of clothing, and I've been way too creative with Taco Bell sauce packets (eggs! They're good in EGGS!) All of this is okay, truly. But Christmas and this whole Borders discount is beginning to piss me off. Or I'll be content and not-wanting and then something stupid will happen, like I'll get the Pottery Barn catalog. Thankfully, the coveting only lasts a few drooly minutes.
I have so many things on the burner, it's hard to keep them straight or get very much done on one. I need to find someone to go with me to my effing work (the real estate office) Christmas party because obviously Ian isn't going now. I don't want to go alone because frankly, I have to talk to those people enough at work, and I want to go because hey, it's a free meal. I have crushes on the stupidest people and I feel bad that I do. I've been sleeping on the couch because it's warmer and more comforting and last night I had a dream that I got my clit pierced. There are a lot of people here in Lawrence that moved from L.A. and it's nice to be able to share experiences. Some chick came up to the info booth at the bookstore and I recognized her as our nude model from drawing class. My internal giggling was such, "heehee, I'VE SEEN YOU NAKEY!" And a lot of my good ranty stuff is going on my lawrence.com "blog".
