Sometimes, trying to maintain a "positive attitude" is positively worthless and exhausing.
Alexander Calder (the artist) said something like, every time I get in a bad mood, I just go to sleep.
I wish I could go to sleep.

People are douchebags.
Especially when they're enclosed in little "indestructable" steel boxes.
And they're lameass teenager grocery jockeys who give me 'tude because I ask for PAPER bags, not plastic. Apparently that's more difficult well jeez I'm so sorry.
And they treat you like children because they manage a corporate bookstore and have no idea how to deal with people unless it's in the Company Manual, so please can you order things for yourself on your break because that minute that you took to do that was company time and really, that's stealing.

I just want to make it through today without killing someone.

Ian seems like he's okay now and though that's what I wanted, it still pisses me off.
But hey, I'm a douchebag too.

PUtting the gun to your head never solved anything. Putting the gun to OTHER'S heads, on the other hand, has solved a great many problems and just generally improved the lot in life for thousands.
