do the kids still call them "kicks"?
Mar. 3rd, 2005 05:21 pmSo, lately, I feel bad buying clothes or anything that won't further any artsy endeavors (I had no problem dropping some cash on a camera). But today, Kim and I went to Zen Zero (more curry!) and we stopped at the Casbah (it was rocked thusly) and I found SHOES. Not just any shoes. I don't get a hard on for shoes, usually. But I've been wanting patent red leather shoes for YEARS now, and they were half off.
These is them. They look kinda funny on my elf-sized feet, but they're comfy and purty. I'm wearing them now. Enjoy this moment with me.
Last night, had an odd experience. After I ate dinner, which admittedly, was a cross-cultural, odd affair (baba ganoosh, nan, corn, and pork and veggie dumplings) I started feeling really dizzy, then I started feeling REALLY dizzy, then nauseous. I couldn't stand or do anything, reading was out, couldn't focus. I ended up just laying on the couch and trying not to throw up. Eric said I should market whatever it was because some people pay good money to feel like that. This is why I don't do drugs. I was so upset and annoyed because 1. Why was it happening and 2. there went a whole night wasted. I checked all the food I ate and it's all good, so I'm not sure what that was.
After that, I had a weird dream that I'd write out, but it already went into the paper journal and I'm lazy. I drew a sketch of the weird featureless man and his dog. I plan on using it later.
Signed up for a small business workshop today. It may not be much, but it helps me feel like I'm doing something.
Found out I can purchase a LEGAL copy of Photoshop CS for half price, because I'm student. I may do that next month, depending on finances.

Hi! it's rueyeet....remember me?
Date: 2005-03-07 09:08 pm (UTC)Like you, f'r instance. :)
And now, a stupid question: Does one actually have to register with PayPal in order to make use of a donation button, or will they just accept a one-time credit card thingie? I am a paranoid old cuss who's listened a bit too much to the EFF and I don't trust PayPal with my information.
It's neat to read that you're actually making real cash money from artistic endeavors and such! Go you! :) And such art it is. I am inspired: next year I'm doing something for Valentine's Day regardless of dating status. Maybe arrange a huge Screw the Hearts and Candy party for all my single friends...okay, it's getting where that would actually be a smallish party, but still.
I ramble. I stop now.

How are you?
Yay!
