I forgot to mention, a couple weeks ago (I have no concept of "time"), I got to meet David Rees. Not only that, but I got to go to dinner with him (and some other people) and then we all played Scrabble while drinking at the Replay. See, good things DO happen to bad people.

And now, I have to go do laundry and pack, for tomorrow I leave for Granola N' Beerville...aka Portland.
;)

p.s. Thanks for the card/postcard/note. I will write back soon, promise. I KNOW YOU READ THIS DON"T EVEN PRETEND LIKE YOU DON"T OKAY THNX.

While busy not pretending that I don't read this, six bags of pruno are overripening in the closet, a Powerball adventure to Connecticut isn't being planned, and the fella upstairs loudly playing the homo-bop isn't being mocked OR spited. I hope you can live with that. It's certainly far below the level of customer service my clients at County have come to expect and they're not very forgiving either. Course, it is difficult to distinguish between angry sodomy and grateful sodomy when you're dealing with petty criminals. Anyhow, where's the button that makes punctuation into faces and turns paragraphs into lively youthful technofractions?

I'm not sitting here being sad to be back in Kansas and not pissed off that I just bombed an Asian Art History test. Nope.

I need the soothing sounds of Michael Bolton.
