Let's not pretend anymore.

Hope everyone had a good Turkey Day. :)

p.s. Damn you Internets. I can't find the lyrics to this damn song!
My semi-new obsession...that and an older Starlight Mints album.
LVOE.

p.p.s. damn you LJ for finally catching on to my non-paid accountness. Three icons?! How can I properly express myself?! I need fifteen pieces of flair!

Our post-christmas is the closest match, but with nowhere near the fervor that gets attached to yours. Once they made boxing day shopping legal (amazingly enough that got made into an official holiday) the sales pretty much matched all the pre-christmas ones, with the only advantage of having gift cards to spend stuff on. None of the crazy stampedes or rushes, though a few places still have crazy door crashers in effect there and the campers associated with it. Boxing day soon became boxing week, and the rush was pretty inconsequential. I still head out to the malls, but less to shop and more to watch a chaos that I'm not part of and relax (I tend to do the same thing on christmas eve, just to busy-watch and relax) and occasionally collect photo references of large crowds.

It's truly amazing, in that disgusting way, the early morning shopping. I heard people were running, RUNNING, in Target at 6am. That just shouldn't happen.

All in all, my Black Friday wasn't so bad. Apparently books aren't the gift to give anymore...even though we now carry iPods. @_@
