Sunday night I was doing other things with Discovery on as background noise, and a Katrina special came on. I figured it would be less than informative, but they actually did a decent job investigating what went wrong. The buses that were in town, that were to be used for evacuation, but that were all stored in the lowest parts of the cities and thus could never be used for the evacuation once it hit. The amount of warnings that were out and out ignored. The experts that did everything in there power to try and get the word out. And the officials that all failed in their duty to their people. But, anymore, I am not surprised.... and it wasn't me stocking you, I promise! ;)
