Alllllllright....

So I rented Wonder Showzen, never having seen any of it...and holy hell, it's bad. And no, not in that good way. Bad as in, Crass-just-to-be-crass spew for college kids with fucking A.D.D. bad. Bad as in, been done and done in a much more clever and talented way. The only good moment I've seen so far has been World Politics In 30 Seconds...and 30 seconds out of four shows, not good. And those kids, what perfect little monsters they're going to become. Yay world.

I guess I should have known better. MTV hasn't put out a good show in years. Gone are the days of Liquid Television. Don't get me started on the 5 minutes of The Hills I saw last night. OMG FOR SERIOUS NO DONT. Nothing makes me more depressed than seeing what entertains our future citizens.

Sometimes, in my upper-level English class, I count how many times some of the girls say "like" when they're giving their opinions on Fitzgerald or Dos Passos.

I will have an aneurysm by thirty.

I liked Wonder Showzen. I enjoyed Clarence the Chameleon chasing after joggers and yelling "What are you running away from!?" and being threatened.

Yeah, that was okay. There was one Beat Kids, with the little girl on Wall Street, that was pretty funny. I don't know...annoying the shit out of people gets a little old after awhile.

I have this same fear. People thinking Paris and Anna Nicole are role models, or are desperately seeking fame on Youtube. I grade papers in IM/Txt speak. Everyone makes your/you're mistakes at times, but "ur" makes me want to scream. Ugh, the whole thing makes me sad, not to mention makes me feel old.

damn kids!

Seriously, I'm not supposed to be this cranky until I'm in my 70's.

It's funny, I read that a few hours before I saw this. I feel absolved.
