Okay, so the theme is Beauty Redefined and you get an AUTOMATIC F+ if you submitted a picture of yourself (extra groans to those people who can't take a fucking picture to save their life, but submitted an outstretched arm, in-the-bathroom shot anyway).

(yes, I know I've taken a few of those in my day. I'll be damned if I'd submit it to JPG.)

Hey Jill,

It's Kassia and I don't have LJ but I just had to comment on this! Because I'm on jpgmagazine.com too and I hate it when people submit photos of themselves. I mean really.. come on. They could at least try harder than the hold your camera out by one arm and make faces shots.

It looks like everyone is either going along a trite "oh look fat/old/disabled people can be pretty" route, which is either insulting or too simple, or they're looking at the fact that it's sponsored by Suicide Girls and posting gothy girl shots. There's a couple of nice ones in there, though.

No, don't get me wrong, I like JPG too. Which is why I get annoyed when douches submit shitty photos of themselves...especially for "Beauty Redefined".

The other catagory seems to be, "I am so self-confident that I can submit a photo of me because I AM BEAUTIFUL but really I'm young and have low self-esteem and am using this to overcompensate". Yeah, that one.

And that boy ass one, man...that just reminds me of the undies Dick wore in Tender Is The Night. 2 points for me.
