I just spent $72 on fabric, but that's supposed to be okay since it's for "art". That's what we artists do, right? Spend money on materials in lieu of responsible things.
Crapsticks, I hate this. I hate being broke all the time, having to ask my parents for money. I keep talking about donating plasma, but I'm such a pansy about it. Not the pain, or the needle, but the feeling of the blood coming out. I hate that.
And the bus system in this town sucks. So finding a job is proving very difficult.
BUT, on the bright side, I just got nominated for an Art & Design scholarship...by a prof I didn't think would nominate me (since they can only choose two). And this is the same one that I got last year, so....fingers crossed.
And that, my friends, is how you justify $72 on fabric.
Now to find money so that I can make prints for Art In The Park.
Off to have one drink in the memory of Mr. Kurt Vonnegut, Jr...
