I hope this is a by-product of entering the third decade, but I've become more willing to just let things go. As in, homework and the like. Maybe it's just that I'm graduating soon and I don't really give a shit. I'm suffering from art burn-out.

Currently, I am trying to finish my portfolio, since I leave for Chicago and Wisconsin tomorrow. Two days ago, I modified my upcoming show to be just photos, since my wanting to do a complete painting, sculpture, print, frame, order postcards, vinyl lettering and about a billion other things, all in two weeks, was a bit too ambitious. Sometimes, ambition is a dirty fucking word.

So tomorrow, I'm supposed to have a complete screenprint done. I've barely started. And I'm not going to finish. I resigned myself to that hours ago. Didn't even go to the studio. I'm sure my prof thinks I'm a slacker, but that's okay, since I think he's kind of a RISD bastard. Okay, he's not a bastard, just has a 'tude sometimes. I just don't know where the time goes. I haven't been slacking.

Anyway, all of this crap was only to post this. It's the cover for the new Lawrence.com (Deadwood edition). It's my photo. Yeah, bitches. Also, they put up a gallery of the images within the story". They're basically the same ones on my Flickr page, but it's exciting and I'm glad NOLA is getting more "face-time".

WHY is it already 1:32am.
